Product: HP E27 G5 FHD Monitor

recently tried ordering a E27 G4 but was told that HP are not providing those anymore so they sent a G5 instead. We needed this monitor to go on ergonomic monitor arm but there seems to be no way to remove the vesa plate from the monitor. Could you please advise if there is a particular way to do this with this model of monitor or if we have just been sent the wrong thing?

The buttons to remove the back plate haves been removed.

 

Push down in the middle of the vesa cover, near where the port are, this lets it flex enough to grab it at the top and remove it. Just did this on my monitor, as I too had the G4 swapped out as it was replaced with this model.

This is shown in the monitor manual on page 9 (my description sounds difficult), but should really be in the provided paperwork.
