Hi:
That PC only has one slot for a M.2 SSD.
There are no additional slots to add one.
The specs indicate that HP offers NVMe SSD's up to 2 TB in the model series.

The motherboard specs are below.
One slot for a Wi-Fi card, one slot for a NVMe SSD, which are already occupied.

hi, thanks for the answer, but can we add a hdd instead of another ssd ? for instance the
HP Pavilion 27-ca2002na GTX 1650 – Core™ i7 1 TB SSD + 1 TB HDD
has a gpu an ssd and a hdd. so can we add a hdd to the HP pavilion 32-b1000i ?
if so can you direct to installation instructions ? video or pdf ?
thanks

You're very welcome.
According to the product specs and motherboard specs, there is only support for one M.2 SSD.
You cannot install a 2.5" SATA SSD in the PC.
Below is link to the service video for the previous model series. HP does not have one for the 32-b1000i model series.
However, even the older model series had no support for 2.5" drives.

Thanks again.
HP missed a trick then if they have a 27" aio that has gtx 1650 GPU and 1TB ssd plus 1TB hdd but
did not do a 31.5" aio with same storage and gpu.
do you have a link for the HP Pavilion 27-ca2002na upgrade video or pdf ?
thanks

You're very welcome.
There are only these service videos when I enter the model number you posted.
However, I have no idea if any of them match the design of the 27-ca2002na AIO PC.
You can find the upgrading and servicing guide for the 27-ca2000 Intel model series at the link below.

as you are knowledgable would you happen to know if a user can use the hdmi input on the HP Pavilion 32-b1001na when the computer is switched off ? I am thinking of upgrading, I have a 27 inch pavilion aio and I can use the HDMI input ( example view tv via freeview box plugged into hdmi) with the computer switched off, so wondering if it would be the same with the 31.5 inch pavilion aio ? as the 31.5" unit has more speakers so may be different in function.

Unfortunately, that I do not know because even though the PC specs and the motherboard specs indicate the PC has 3 HDMI ports, it does not specify if they are all HDMI out or at least one of them is HDMI in.
Usually that information is provided but on this model series it was not.

Hi, they are HDMI in. But the question was if the HDMI in will work with the computer switched off. The dell aio computers need the computer switched on to use the HDMI in but my HP pavilion 27 inch will let the user use the HDMI input when the computer is switched off. The 31.5 inch pavilion seems to have 3 HDMI in due to people moaning that it does not have HDMI out , but want to make sure that they can be used with the computer SWITCHED OFF.
