@adam50008,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Yes, you can add additional cooling fans, such as this 60x60mm (for your case, maybe a 50x50mm fan is a better fit) fan blowing out on the rear-side on my HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF example:

Btw, this is a heavily upgraded legacy desktop, where I installed multiple additional cooling fans, something you likely don't need.  The parts you will need to add an additional cooling fan:

1.) Cooling fan, such as: AVC model: DS06025B12U, 12V, 0.7A, 6025, 4-Wire Cooling Fan, such as this example: Amazon.com: DS06025B12U Fan AVC DS06025B12U 12V 0.7A 6025 4-Wire Cooling Fan : Electronics, or, if you determined that a smaller sized cooling fan is a better fit for your desktop, this AVC model: DA05015R12H 50x50mm cooling fan: Amazon.com: BZBYCZH Compatible for AVC DA05015R12H PS01 5015 50x50x15mm 50mm 12V 0.20A 4pin case Coo....

2.) Two cooling fan 4-pin power splitter cables, such as: Amazon.com: PC Fan Splitter Extension Cable - 1 to 2 PWM Fan Splitter Compatible with 3 & 4 Pin PC C....

This is how you'll connect it:

As you can see in the second picture above, I secured the rear cooling fan with two bolts & nuts I had laying around.  Nothing particularly special, just to keep the fan in place.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
