I'm trying to buy a new case fan for my HP Desktop M01-F0014 (6YQ58AAA) and need to know the make model pin count size of the original to get a replacement fan.  and need to know where to get one.

Wouldn't it be simpler to use a micrometer caliper or small metric ruler. to get the dimensions?

It should be a standard sized fan. They are easy to remove and replace.

You can unplug the fan connector from the motherboard header and count the pins yourself. There will be either three or four pins.

I don't have a micrometer caliper or small metric ruler. to get the dimensions.  The fan is still in the computer and I have not taken it out.... I thought their was a specific make and model for my computer.   I just have to try an measure it.?  Is there a way to get dimensions from a standard  ruler of inches?

I was able to find the specifications of your PC's system fan.

The part number is 646679-001.  The fan size is 92x92x25mm

The prices range from reasonable to ridiculously pricey. eBay has the best price.

Your PC's HP PartSurfer data, which has all of the important parts. See the Hardware kit section.
