I wanted to add a EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 GAMING to my desktop but you need uefi bios for the gpu to boot properly.
Is there any way to change the bios from legacy to uefi.

If that card requires UEFI BIOS to work, then probably need to ask EVGA for assistance. HP didn't begin using UEFI until mid-October, 2012. Your computer was released in August, 2011. Most older cards should work with that BIOS, so it might be a better choice to not set your sights so high if EVGA cannot assist.
