Microsoft Windows 11

I bought an hp pavillion gaming desktop, I did some benchmarks, the temeperatura was very high in all games even the lightest ones (Rocket League) the temperature of the video card was above 85 ° C so I changed the speed of the graphics card fans.
My question is if I change the fan speed of the graphics card whit msi afterburner I invalidate the warranty?

hi @Paola4398439

Indeed, it might not be easy in this case, to know if you have modified something..
But in any case, if you modify the speed of the fans, incorrectly, you risk returning to the same, instead of prolonging the life of the graphics card, on the contrary, decreasing it..
Faster wear, fans, ultimately malfunction of your graphics card!
It would be better to contact the support service, precisely in order to have this overheating problem resolved..

@Paola4398439 -- I think that increasing the fan-speed should reduce the temperature of the graphics-adapter, making it more likely that it will work properly, and thus have a lower probability of needing to make a warranty-claim.

If you do submit a warranty claim, would the repair depot be able to tell that you had been using it with a faster fan-speed?  I doubt it.

Can you add another "case-fan", to move more warmed-up air out through the exhaust vents?
