HP Compaq 8100 Elite Convertible Minitower PC

Hello everyone I have a an hp compaq 8100 elite convertible Minitower and the case is so large and heavy (about 12 kg) so I want to replace it with smaller case but I do not know what is the form factory of the motherboard . Can I know what is the possibilities do I have .  AND THANKS IN ADVANCE .

I am not a HP employee.

 

I don't recommend moving HP motherboards to retail cases.

 

Too many potential problems with front panel connections and other possible issues.

 

A retail mid-tower chassis will accommodate mini ATX, Micro ATX, and ATX motherboards provided HP is not using modified motherboard (MB) mounting points.

 

Only you can determine if the HP MB will work in a retail case.

The 8100 SFF and the CMT have differences, mainly the PSU, and PCIE card height, ie low profile vs full height.

The differences can be found here.    This vendor might have a SFF case.
