Unfortunately your Compaq Presario is a retired product. It is too far back in generations for HP to provide support on the website.

The Presario SR series desktop sjould have four digits and two letters in its product name.

If you wopuld like help troubleshooting it, that is not a problem.

If you will provide detailed information on the problem and its related symptoms in your next reply to your thread, we can get started.

I want to thank both of you for your help, it was helpful. I performed some test an I believe that the power supply is bad.

Thanks again.
