HP ENVY All-in-One Desktop PC 34-c0000

I have an HP ENVY All-in-One Desktop PC 34-c0000 with a NVDIA GeForce GTX 1650 in it. I want to replace that card with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. Can I do that?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Replacing the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 in your HP ENVY All-in-One Desktop PC 34-c0000 with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 is not feasible due to hardware limitations specific to the design of this all-in-one system.

Key Considerations:

Mobile GPU Design: The HP ENVY All-in-One 34-c0000 uses mobile GPUs, which are typically soldered onto the motherboard rather than installed in a standard PCIe slot. This means the GPU is not user-replaceable or upgradeable in most cases.

Power Supply Limitations: Even if the GPU were replaceable, upgrading to an RTX 3060 would require a more powerful power supply unit (PSU). The RTX 3060 typically requires a PSU with at least 600W and additional power connectors, whereas the HP ENVY 34-c0000 is equipped with a proprietary PSU that may not meet these requirements.

Tool-less Design for Storage and Memory: While the HP ENVY 34 supports easy upgrades for storage and memory, GPU upgrades are not explicitly supported due to the integrated design of the motherboard and cooling system.

Alternatives:

If you need more powerful graphics, consider purchasing a configuration of the HP ENVY All-in-One that already includes an RTX 3060 or higher. Alternatively, you could explore traditional desktops or gaming laptops that offer better upgradeability for GPUs.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
