HP Envy 795
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I just bought a new HP Envy 795 desktop tower. In setting it up, it calls for a DVI adapter. There is none. Is this something that needs to be bought separately? Nothing is mentioned in the manual so if I have to go out and buy one, what do I need to know? The monitor I have is an HP monitor which is about 6 yrs old.  Does this mean I have to spring for another monitor as well? The monitor I have worked with a Dell desktop tower.  Not feeling too happy right now about this purchase.

Thank you.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

You would need a HDMI to DVI adapter if the Envy 795 does not support DVI. Most new PCs don't have DVI output on the I/O shield.

Regards
