Product: tg02-1347c
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I was wondering If i could swap out the cpu for my victus 15L prebuilt the tg02-1347c with an i5-13400f. I am wanting to use the i7-13700f (the cpu that the prebuilt comes with) with something else. Would this be possible without any bios updates.

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

In days gone by your question would be easy to answer.

 

Many HP MB Support sites are now broken or non-existent. So I can't check your PC's MB specs.

 

The best I can do is guess the 13400F downgrade might work using the factory BIOS. Both processors have the same 65 watt TDP. Both processors are 13th Gen.

 

The latest BIOS update for your MB is Here.

 

Only a Forum member: owning your specific HP PC and having done this CPU downgrade, would be able to provide a definitive answer.
