i wanted to upgrade my processor from a ryzen 5 5600g to a ryzen 7 5700x, but on the motherboard specs there are only two processor listed the ryzen 3 5300g and the ryzen 7 5700g.

i was wondering if i could use the ryzen 7 5700x instead

Unfortunately, you cannot. Your Erica6 motherboard (SSID: 8906) only supports up to an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, such as this top Erica6 motherboard User: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2xxx Performance Results - UserBenchmark.
