good day, 3 days ago, i tried replacing my processor 8700F with 9700x, after doing so, i started having issues, failure to POST, if it post it will be stuck in the omen loading page, after doing like 4 to 5 hard reset it will be able to POST and run smoothly, however, when you restart or turn it off and tried to turn it on, the issue will come back. Is 9700x still not supported? which model can i use to upgrade it from my existing processor? im running F.30 version of the BIOS.
thank you so much.

The technical answer to your question is this: your OMEN 35L Gaming Desktop PC GT16-0000a (9X4U5AV) as fitted with the Wolant motherboard (SSID: 8CF4) is technically compatible with the Ryzen 7 9700X, as it uses the same AM5 socket.
However, whilst some users have successfully upgraded, many others reported issues such as missing Wi-Fi or instability and manual RAM tuning forcing 2:1 memory modes, reducing performance.
Point is -as of yet, it appears that your Wolant motherboard is primarily designed for 8000-series Ryzen processors.
This is also apparent when you look at Userbenchmark entries, here and here, where no HP System OMEN 35L GT16-0xxx can be seen fitted with a Ryzen 7 9700X.
Perhaps a future BIOS version might be released to make 9000-series Ryzen processors (fully) compatible on your platform.
One can always hope.
Kind Regards,
