hello i wanted to ask you if i can upgrade my ryzen 7 4700g to a ryzen 5800x cpu

 

i think my motherboard is an ID19 erica3_erica5 rev A

i have updated the bios

Your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-1000a (2W847AV) is indeed fitted with the Erica3 motherboard (SSID: SSID: 87D6), and here are the processor options available to you:

Meaning, the best processor you could install in your desktop would be the Ryzen 7 4700G which you already got.  This is also confirmed by UserBenchMark HP System Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1xxx Users here: UserBenchmark: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1xxx Compatible Components.  The Ryzen 5800X is not compatible with your PC.
