Hello everyone 8 ) i could use some help here...
this is what should be on board now : HyperX 16 GB DDR4-3733 MHz XMP RGB Heatsink RAM (2 x 8 GB)
i want it to be at least 32 gb ( i got 2 free sockets)
the question is what makes more sense:
1. just add 2 new of the old ones (only found on ebay for 55€)
or
2. buy all new, maybe different, maybe better, maybe cheaper ?

hey Irwin6, thank you for your assistance.
somehow i knew that both ways will work but :
" the question is what makes more sense "
in terms of speed, performance, durability, power consumption, future upgrades, etc. ...
my guess would be that adding older parts (1) would not have the same effect as if i
(2) switch to modern parts.
what would be your recommendation, your choice for yourself ?
thanks a lot for your time and effort !

Hi @danpf,
I would suggest you to go with adding 2 new of the similar kind installed on your device as it will work in the best possible way and you don't have to waste the other 2 by removing them for no reason.
