Salve ragazzi ho bisogtno di una mano ho un pc: hp omen gt12-0068nl, e devo aumentare da 8 a 16 giga la ram però ho cercato su vari forum e chiesto all'assistenza ma una risposta non riesce a darmela ho 4 slot uno da 8 ne devo mettere un secondo come faccio devo metterlo lasciando uno spazio o posso anche tranquillamente metterlo dopo quello che ho già preinstallato. Aspetto vostra risposta.

Yes, that is how it normally works.

 

Worst case scenario is the PC won't boot up, or the memory will run in flex mode.

 

You will not damage anything by installing memory in the wrong slot.

There is no illustration of the motherboard your PC has.

 

If the memory slots are color coded, you put the other 8 GB memory in the same color slot as the original memory is in.

 

If the slots are not color coded, leave the adjacent slot empty and install the memory in the next slot.

 

Example:

 

8 GB + 0 + 8 GB + 0.
