This drive has a faulty driver. it ONLY reads 54c AT ALL TIMES. this is not accurate. i see there are many other threads on this topic that have been closed. i would like to know when/if an updated firmware will be released.
I also see that "support" will probably respond saying 54c is a safe operating temperature. but the issue is that the temperature is NOT accurate it is not actually displaying the true temperature of the drive.
i actually have (2) 1tb versions of this drive in my PC and i would like to have them working/reading properly.
PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THIS thread unless an updated driver/fix is released.

There looks to be a firmware update or something at:
https://www.multipointe.com/downloads/
See if you can get it to run. It looks like it's supposed to downgrade the firmware to SVN105 if it works,
though I can't get it to recognize the drive. I have a drive with SVN163 as the firmware and the temperature is still stuck in that one, too.
