I saw this video where the guy put up an external gpu with an adaptor and an pci-e slot

I would like to know if it would be possible to do same on my pc (it's more the hardware part because I know me pc got an additional pci-e slot)

That is interesting.  I have heard of these before but not really expected it to work.  At least in that video it appears to work.

Your PC does have the needed PCI slot that it plugs into, so maybe it will work.  The video does not explain how the power to the card is provided but it appears that you need an additional power supply to feed the adapter and the card.

If you give it a try, you might post how well it works on the desktop and where it is available to purchase and, of course, the price.

Then it is worth it?
