Greetings @Jayvion

My pleasure.

Thanks for the images.

I build and repair PCs. I have never worked on your specific PC.

The first image is where you would mount a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. A 2.5 inch SATA SSD install will require a 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch adapter. The adapters are available at Amazon.

A 3.5 inch SATA HDD can be directly mounted to the hard disk drive cage.

I have used Sabrent products in the past so you might consider the Sabrent product listed at the Amazon link if you do a 2.5 inch SATA SSD.

HP should provide SATA power and data cables which are now connected to your PC's MB. Each cable (power and data) should be near the HDD cage.

Watch this YouTube video on how to install and connect a 2.5 SATA SSD in your PC.

I would not know if the P13 cable connects to the SATA SSD.

The second image is the primary M.2 NVME SSD where the operating system resides. You could upgrade this component to a higher capacity drive if desired.

The third image shows one PCIe x16 slot for a discrete graphics card. The smaller PCIe slot is at x1. This slot could be used to add less demanding PCIe components such as a sound card or a network adapter.

Greetings @Jayvion

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I can't look at your PC's MB's specs. The HP MB spec site for your PC is broken.

It was easy to check HP PC MB specs back in the old days when one had access to HP PC MB specifications.

Check out this HP YouTube video on how to remove and replace parts in your HP PC. This video does not show how to install a second HDD/SSD but it should give an idea on how to do this.

Storage Upgrade:

Your PC's MB can probably do one storage M.2 NVME drive. I don't know for sure. You would have to inspect your PC's MB to ID a possible second, open M.2 storage socket. But I think your PC's MB has one M.2 storage socket and one M.2 WIFI socket.

This primary M.2 socket, having the OS installed, would be populated at the factory.

Did you check Windows File Explorer to see if HP has provided a second data drive? You may have this second drive now.

Your PC can do a 2.5 inch SATA SSD (recommended) for data if desired. You can do a second HDD but SATA SSDs are much faster.

Your PC provides a drive cage to add a second HDD or a second SSD. HP usually provides a spare SATA data cable and a spare SATA power cable. You would have to provide the screws to mount the SSD in the HP provided drive cage.

Memory Upgrade:

Your PC's MB usually has two memory slots. HP has probably installed one 8 GB memory module at the factory.

I suggest you use Crucial Memory for the best memory upgrade experience. Use the Crucial Scanner.

It is best to do a memory kit from Crucial for the best memory upgrade results. This means you should do a Crucial two stick memory kit and you would have to retire the HP 8 GB factory memory module.
