What operating system? More RAM up to a limit will help. 16 GBs of RAM is usually the sweet spot for gaming.
The 5600 XT is a dual slot card/10.5 inches in length. Verify the card fits. It may be a tight fit.
This graphics card requires a minimum 450 watt power supply with one supplemental 8 pin connector. You have a 600 watt power supply. Verify you have the eight pin PSU connector. You should have this.
You may need a BIOS update. Try the card before updating the BIOS. The 5600 XT probably requires a UEFI BIOS.
Your PC was built during a Legacy BIOS to UEFI BIOS transition period. It appears your PC shipped with W7. Some MBs made during this period shipped with a Legacy BIOS. HP offered a UEFI BIOS update for qualifying motherboards.
There is a W8 BIOS update showing UEFI variable/security updates (it should work using W10 or W11) here https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-hpe-h9-1200-phoenix-desktop-p...You might need this update.
You might have to disable BIOS Secure Boot/enable Legacy Support https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c04784866
Look at "What if my computer does not boot properly after installing new hardware".
