Hi. so i have hp compaq 6000 pro. it has 7 gb of ram, 500gb hdd and intel core 2 duo e8400. i wanted to put gt 620 but i didnt find it so i found gt 210. gt 210 has pcie 2.0 16x so i wanted to ask will it work with my pc? i will be more than happy if it works beacuse i hvae issues with onboard intel gma 4500 graphics chip.

A GT210 should work just fine.

 

Your PC's Q43 Express chipset is PCIe version is 1.1, and PCIe 2.0 graphics cards are backward compatible to that specification.

Another card you can buy cheaply is the AMD Radeon HD 6450 which will also work in your PC.

 

Always make sure you buy a card that comes with the low-profile mounting bracket.

I tried hd 5450 and it works but its from pc that doesnt have integrated gpu and my onboard graphics chip is bad. Thank you som much for helping me!
