Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking to upgrade the processor from i7 3770 to i7 8700k but I am not sure if is suported.

 

As extra info, I have already upgraded the grafic card to a Nvidia GTX 1060-3GB and the drive to a Samsung 850 Evo 500GB with out problems.

I have already checked this list but just shows 2nd and 3th generation and I was wondering if this list wasn't updated.

This means that is not supporting even a 4th generation processor. Is this correct?

 

EDIT: I see, looks like chipset just suport those processors https://ark.intel.com/products/64021/Intel-Z75-Express-Chipset

Yeah when upgrading processors you have to look at the socket type of your specific CPU and if your socket is for example an LGA 1151,  You cannot use any other processors that are outside of that  it has to be an LGA 1151 socket CPU
