Try the W8.1 driver then.  Install and restart the PC.

This time I explored the above driver folder, and as you can see the hardware ID's you posted are supported by the above driver.

See if installing this driver resolves the problem...

 

This package provides the Intel Patsburg Chipset Drivers for select Workstations models and operating systems. Routine Update

did the download and when to each device in Device Manager to update - no luck.

 

uninstalled devices and reboot - no luck

 

search for drivers on in Device Manager on C:\ - no luck

 

Same message re: Windows encountered a problem installing the drivers ........

Have spent many hours re-establishing the computer after reseting Windows and going thru the recovery process.  All devices are now ok.
