what graphic card to buy for new dell s3423dwc monitor??

have the HP Z240 workstation.   it only has the built in card so far..

this is a nice monitor, so i am going to look for a used graphic card.  i don't game, but do want the best pic this DELL MONITOR can produce.  so a used card should not cost too much i would think, as i don't need the fastest , just a great picture.

apparently my new monitor also has PBB split screen capacity too, with utilizing i think their softwear hub from Dell.

 any advice would be appreciated,

@kjweiler,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

I would be happy to assist you the best I can.  In order to do that, I'll need some additional information, such as: please confirm that you have an HP Z240 Tower Workstation or an HP Z240 SFF?  In addition, it would be helpful to know what processor you got, and the wattage (or part number) of your power supply.

Kind Regards,

@kjweiler,

OK, you got an HP Z240 SFF, likely fitted with a 240-watt power supply with part number: 751884-001 or: 702309-001 or: 702457-001 or: 702307-002 -please verify:

Given this, the graphics card option for you would be a low-profile model: from best (most expensive) to lowest (cheapest) performing: RTX A2000, GTX 1650, GTX 1630, GTX 1050 Ti, RX 6400, RX 550 or GT 1030.

All depends on your budget, and you'll have to do some research (Amazon-Canada, eBay-Canada, etc.) yourself.

Kind Regards,
