I put a z370 motherboard(comes from omen 880) into my omen cube case(comes from omen 900).
In omen 900 case:
The hdd fan connects to the left top connector.
In omen 880 motherboard:
The left top connector is a VRM fan connector, it's controlled by VRM temp.
Now hdd fan can't cool the VRM and runs at a top speed.
1.I need a bios which can control the fan speed and z370 should be able to overlock cpu and memory.
And the rgb light can't be controlled at a red color.
2.The top fan connector is controlled by what? (at the left of the cpu) In omen 880 case, it's null.
update:all problem are about z370 of omen 880
I add a fan to the VRM fan connector and the fan run at a top speed.
I notice that on omen 880 z370 motherboard:
top fan connector and VRM fan connector are null. So the reason is that bios technology engineer is slack.
he didn't define the two connectors.
So the fans connected to the two connectors will run at a top speed and in bios you can't adjust the fan strategies.
I suggest to update a beta series bios for buyer who need more settings in bios.(fan strategy, cpu and memory overclocking etc)
