Product: HP Pavilion 31.5 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 32-b1000i

with the HP Pavilion 31.5 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 32-b1000i, can we use a hdmi input with the computer switched off ? or does the computer have to be running ?.  The 27 inch pavilion aio allows me to input hdmi from freeview box when the computer is OFF, but is it the same for the pavilion 31.5 inch ? because it has more speakers ect.  thanks
