i have a hp po 3130 mt desktop.

 

i just want to know how many internal hard disk can be installed in the system? currently i'm using 2 sata hdd and a dvd writer. i try removing the dvd , replace it with new hdd but it onlu detect 2 hdd intead of 3. please help me on the matter. i would like to install 4 hdd on the board since it as 4 connect on the board

You should be able to install at least three drives on your desktop. Not sure if you would benefit from having four drives, install large capacity drives and you wouldn't need four drives.

 

Anyway, whatever your secondary and tertiary drives are (SSD &/or HDD) your boot drive definitely should be a solid state drive (SSD) in order to take advantage of the much faster data transfer/booting capabilities of an SSD.
