Hi:
According to chapter 1 of the service manual, your notebook has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR4 memory.
HP Laptop - 15-gw0502sa - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support
The Crucial memory report for your notebook indicates that it can support up to 2 x 16 GB of memory.
HP - Compaq HP 15-gw0502sa | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial UK
Before running out and buying memory, I recommend that you open up the notebook and confirm that there are two memory slots, because it is possible that the notebooks with the AMD Athlon Silver3050U processors may only have one memory slot.
