Im trying to get information on how to upgrade the RAMM on my HP Omen 25L I have seen that you have an HP certified RAMM or it will not work with the system has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions on what RAMM to use I currently have 1 stick of Hyper X fury and would like to use the same one for looks, but HP is not at all helpful on this issue any help would be appreciated

Is the Hyper-X memory module one that is installed?

 

You can use CPU-z to get the part number information from the hyper-X module.

Otherwise you can purchase guaranteed compatible memory specifically for your Omen 25L

Crucial does not make Hyper X memory sticks....they are made by Kingston....not sure why the HP "expert" suggested Crucial.
