@rawsamizi,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

You didn't specify if you got the HP Compaq Pro 6300 SFF or the Micro Tower (MT).

Either way, I would recommend you work with an ATX power adapter cable specifically intended for the HP Compaq 6300 Pro platform, such as this purchase example via Amazon-Singapore: DKARDU 24 Pin to 6 Pin ATX Power Adapter Cable, 24P to 6P ATX PSU Main Power Supply Cable for Z220 Z...:

What this power adapter cable will do for you is to replace your stock HP power supply.  You plug in the 24-pin cable from an industry standard ATX power supply into the 24-pin power adapter cable, and the other two power cables from the adapter plug in your motherboard.  Then you split the 4+4-pin CPU power connector cable from your ATX power supply to plug in your 4-pin CPU motherboard power port.  Easy-peasy.

If you got the SFF (Small Form Factor) model, you'll likely have to park your ATX power supply outside your case.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
