Good morning, I have tried adding additional RAM to my pc. However, I have tried adding it on its own in both slots and adding with the existing RAM and still not working. It just does beeping noise.
the existing RAM is 8GB 1RX8 PC4-2666V-UA2-11
NEW RAM IS - 8GB 1RX8 PC4-2666V-RD1-11
Do I need to change any settings in the BIOS? although when I have entered the BIOS settings I have'nt seen anything to change for the RAM.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, mixing memory modules that use different branded chips can result in what you are having happen.
The new RAM is Hynix memory and the original memory is Micron.
You can find memory for sale matching the original module at eBay or on Amazon.co.uk. That would be your best option.

There are no settings that you can change in the BIOS relative to the memory

The chips on the modules are labelled with Hynix and Micron or Samsung.
Those are three of the top memory chip manufacturers.
