Hi @Chiragbpujara,
Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Check for Bluetooth Capability
- Your keyboard and mouse may work via Bluetooth, depending on the model. If your device supports Bluetooth, you could try pairing them with a Bluetooth-enabled computer. Here's how:
- Make sure your computer has Bluetooth enabled.
- Turn off and then turn back on the keyboard and mouse.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your computer and look for your devices to pair them.
Use a Generic USB Receiver
- In some cases, generic wireless USB receivers can work with certain keyboard and mouse sets. However, this is hit or miss and will not work with every set.
Check for an Existing Pairing
- If you previously connected your keyboard and mouse to another device, check that device to see if it still recognizes them. If it does, you may be able to use the keyboard and mouse again by reconnecting the dongle or finding a compatible one.
Use a New Combo (if all else fails)
- If the dongle is irretrievably lost and you cannot find a replacement, you may want to consider purchasing a new wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Many of these combos come with their own dongle.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
