Hp proliant mL310e
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hp proliant ml310e cannot display from the the graphics card added( geforce gt970) but rather from the on-board vga.

How can this be resolved.

Thank you

Since that model is a server, which I do not work with, perhaps the hardware will not accept a graphics card.  I know for consumer desktops, when a graphics card is added, the onboard graphics are disabled.  If this model will still display from the onboard graphics, then obviously this hardware is setup differently.

Just a side note: you did move the monitor connection to the connections on the graphics card output ports, correct?

Hi, @Kylerichie

HP split into two companies in 2014.

HP supports PC's, printers, tablets and calculators.

HP Enterprise (HPE) supports servers, switches, routers and tape storage.
