The ram must be placed in one way with the motherboard and ram notches the same way also the ram must be inserted with equal pressure on both sides until you hear a click from both clips.

Remove the ram and reinstart applying equal pressure until you hear two clicks if the ram wont insert try another slot.

Before you get new ram can you take the ram out put it flat on a table and send a picture from the gold pins.
