Hello,
I am thinking of upgrading my GTX 1030 to a GTX1660 or better with 6G of memory.
Will this work for my machine?
Also, I have noticed my RAM being on the slow side. If I understand it correctly it appears the clock speed is 1600 is this the max speed? Do I have a choice to upgrade and if so to what?
It has been a super machine and I am trying to squeeze a few more years out of it but I use it for gaming and want to make sure I spend my money wisely.
Thanks,

@DViking1974 -- is this your computer: HP ENVY Phoenix 810-160 Desktop PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
If so, then you already have the fastest-compatible RAM.
How much will a new video-card cost? Compare to early 2022, when Windows 11 will be available. Will you buy a new computer (with a new SSD disk-drive and a good video-card) ? Is it "wiser" to spend money now, or spend money next year?

Hello
buy a new computer, under the pretext of windows 11, yes, you have to see, and have the means, minimum $ 1200 for something suitable
This model has a 600w power supply, just check what is required for your chosen graphics card, and if you have the necessary pci power ports.
eventually, I would remove the 16 gb ssd cache, and I will place a good minimum 250 gb SSD (bare minimum), and keep the HDD for storage
