i have a hp z2 mini g4 workstation with i7-8700 and quadro p1000 graphics card, i just wanted to know that if its possible to upgrade my graphics card to a better one.

 

Also i had recently installed a hard drive from my old laptop to this but its not showing up anywhere what do i do

@Aryanand , welcome to the Community.

 

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the workstation.  Normally, if there is a way to upgrade the graphics card there will be a list of compatible cards.  Since there is no list, I don't believe that you can upgrade it.  This would have to be done when it was originally purchased if at all possible.

 

Check in Disk Management to see if it is listed.  If not, make certain that it is connected to the motherboard/system board properly.  If it is listed and still doesn't appear, right click on the drive and select "Mark Partition as Active".
