@Fisken,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Ideally, your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000i (4S849PA) as fitted with the Stark motherboard (SSID: 8860) can be upgraded with an i7-11700 or i7-11700F processor.

You got enough RAM for now, later on you may want to consider upgrading to a 2x16GB RAM kit.

Please check, I believe your PC is powered by a 350-watt power supply with p/n: M49611-001.

It is possible that your PC got the 400-watt power supply (likely with p/n: L69242-800 or L04618-800).

In order to upgrade your graphics card -which I would recommend before you upgrade your processor, you may have to upgrade your power supply if you got the 350-watt power supply.

Reason being, the graphics card I would recommend would be a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060, powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable, such as this example: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-dual-rtx-4060-v2-oc.b11456.

Now, in theory (as per the aforementioned TechPowerUp link), a 350-watt power supply could be sufficient to power this card.

However, if you got the funds, I would recommend either the 400-watt or a compatible 500-watt power supply, with p/n: 901759-013 / L05757-800 / L81009-800.

Kind Regards,
