hp z200
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hey ,

So i have some issue with my z200 , i bought the desktop from a ressealer how had changed the CPU to an i7-860

The problem is that when i activate multithread from BIOS it's load windows and show the 4 core all fine .

untill I try to open a program , the systm crash and i get the blue screen with 0x0000001E error .

So i can't have the full power of CPU i can only work with one core and if I activate multithread it won't  work  .

I allredy updated the BIOS and installed last driver avaible the only one that i can't install is the PCI Driver don't now why

Hope i get a response as i just bought a  GT 1030 but i can't play any games on one core .

Thanks

several things, first of all you have a workstation system and as such you should post questions in the workstation forum

the existing cpushould  be removed and replaced with one of the HP supported cpu's

(but sthe 860 should be fine for home use)

thas the error you are having is a driver error, i recomend you do a full "clean" install of windows 7 and then install the posted drivers from the HP site

last which 1030 card did you buy, there are two diffrent hardware versions of this card and only on is suitable for gameing
