Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Your HP ProDesk 400 G6 SFF, according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06388142#AbT11, is fitted with a 180-watt power supply.
A Maxsum Radeon RX 550 2GB GDDR5 graphics card requires at least a 250-watt power supply unit: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/maxsun-rx-550-transformer.b5144, so that wouldn't work, even if this card were to fit inside your desktop.
Now, according to the manual (p. 1 of 124): http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06513590.pdf, there are -that is, supposedly- two additional power supply upgrades: a 250-watt and 310-watt power supply:
And either of the aforementioned power supplies would provide sufficient juice to power the Maxsum Radeon RX 550 graphics card.
So, I started looking.
However.
Even though I think am pretty savvy in digging up (obscure/hidden) HP part numbers, but for the life of me, I was unsuccessful to find part numbers for either the elusive 250- or 310-watt power supplies, let alone a single web-based illustration/reference of/to these parts. Highly unusable. Others have tried before in this Forum, and no luck either.

Your picture didn't post, but I would imagine that would work. I have seen one HP ProDesk 400 G6 SFF fitted with one of these RX 550: HP ProDesk 400 G6 SFF Performance Results - UserBenchmark.

can I ask again....if this is also possible to fit and work well with the hp prodesk 400 g6 sff unit...nvidia quadro p620 the net power consumption is only 40 watts and it is faster than the rx550 and gt1030 if not this is also possible, can you suggest a gpu that fits my unit, I'm struggling because I'm finding a gpu that's fast and fit and works well, pls reply, thanks a lot for the help btw...

Yes, a 40-watt Nvidia Quadro P620 2GB GDDR5 (NVIDIA Quadro P620 Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database) would be compatible with a 180-watt power supply.

If you don't mind, please follow up and share your experience with the Nvidia Quadro P620, as feedback goes both ways.
It is frustrating that I couldn't locate a higher wattage power supply for your HP ProDesk 400 G6 SFF, despite thorough searches.
