Pavilion HPE H9-1130
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good morning, for my HP Pavilion HPE H9-1130, how do I install the correct firewire card into the correct motherboard slot in Windows 10  x64 operating system / 64x processor? And what video software system can I download to recognize my Panasonic AX 100A Camera?

Thanks. Followed your directions. And it worked perfectly. Thank you. Even though I have Adobe Prem Pro, I downloaded MS movie maker and updated 9 drivers after installing the PCIe card. Then it worked perfectly to capture video from a FireWire camera. Thank you again!

Hi,

1. Your machine has few PCIe slots whiach are suitable for a PCIe-Firewire card:

  • Expansion Slots:

    • 1 PCI Express x16 (Generation 2 speed)

    • 3 PCI Express x1 (Generation 2 speed)

    • 1 PCI Express mini card x1 (Generation 2 speed)

You can use any standard PCIe - Firewire card. There are many around, fro 1 port, 2 ports and more such as:

2. Please use software on the CD which comes with the camera.

Regards.
