my desktop is an hp pavilion tp01-3000i. it has the 12th gen intel core i5-12400 2.5 ghz. it has over 1TB OF HDD Storage. sadly less than 8gb of ram. And it has the intel UHD GPU integrated into the computer's cpu.
my question is to run games like need for speed: Unbound using the amd radeon rx 570, do i absolutely need to upgrade my computer's psu? i'm new to upgrading a computer, so a comprehensive step by step guide would be awesome.

Most of those models with the onboard Intel graphics only come with 180W or 310W power supplies.
Neither power supply has supplemental power connectors.
The card you want to install has a 150W power draw with a recommended power supply with a 6-pin supplemental power connector is required.

Accordingly to make sure your PC is covered PSU-wise, you should install a 500W PSU which for your PC is part number L05757-800 Power Supply - GNRC PSU 500W ENT17 FR.
You should be able to find this PSU on Amazon or eBay.
