Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. So I have resently built a computer and i bought the Asus ipibl-lb or HP Benicia-GL8E. Righ now i have  a intel e7300 cpu in it but i really need a quad. I want to be certain before buying that the Q9550 will work with this mobo. THX

Here is the processor upgrade information for the motherboard:

 

Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
  • Intel Core 2 Quad (Y) Q9xxxx
  • Intel Core 2 Duo (W) E8xxx
  • Intel Core 2 Quad (K) up to Q6600
  • Core 2 Duo E6x00 (C) up to E6700
  • Core 2 Duo E4x00 (C) up to E4400

 

Please be aware that this motherboard is not the same as a retail version made by ASUS.  HP has their motherboards made to their own specs.
