Pavilion 23-g020x
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a HP Pavilion 23-g020x All-in-One Desktop PC, and want to upgrade it to 2 x 8 Gb. when i search in hp website, it say memory support is sodimm ddr3-1600  pc 12800, and not mention anyting about low voltage memory, so i wonder if i buy a low voltage memory is't work?

Thankyou

Hi:

If you buy a 1.35 V memory module it should work because those modules have to also run at 1.5V to meet the DDR3 memory standard.

On the other hand, a DDR3 memory module will not run at 1.35V.

I also checked the info and the parts list for your PC and it shows DDR3 1.5V memory was installed.

If you google either part number listed for the memory, it comes back as 1.5V.

I am very surprised by that.  I always thought PC's with the 4th gen Intel core processors all ran on DDR3L memory.
