I have a HP 87D6 motherboard and would like to know if its compatible with an RTX 4060 thats it-

Yes, your desktop as fitted with the Erica3 motherboard (SSID: 87D6) is compatible with an RTX 4060 graphics card, as long as you got at least a 400-watt power supply.

 

The part number for the 400-watt power supply is: L69242-800 "Power Supply - 400W cDT23 FR Gold".  You should be able to purchase one of these power supplies online, such as via Amazon, eBay or AliExpress.

 

Btw, I would suggest a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable, such as this model: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-dual-rtx-4060.b11147.
