Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My keyboard works fine in my web browser but recently stopped working in email (outlook, gmail and sbcglobal).  It will sporadically type a few randon keys but nothing consistent.  Any suggestions on how to correct this?

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding issues with the computer. I will be delighted to assist you here. 

 

If it is not working only with particular software's, then I believe it is not with the keyboard.

 

Try re-installing those software's.

 

Goto device manager, right click on keyboard, un-install it and then re-start the notebook.
