Hi @Isidro1,

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your new HP All-in-One desktop keyboard is not working or appears to be off. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Check how the keyboard connects
Determine whether your keyboard is wired (USB), wireless with a USB dongle, or Bluetooth.
This affects how it is powered on and detected.

For a wired USB keyboard
Plug the keyboard directly into a USB port on the back of the All-in-One.
The keyboard turns on automatically when connected.

For a wireless keyboard with USB receiver
Insert the small USB receiver (dongle) into a USB port on the computer.
Install batteries in the keyboard and switch the keyboard ON using the power switch (usually on the back or side).

For a Bluetooth keyboard
Turn the keyboard ON and put it into pairing mode (usually holding the Bluetooth or Connect button).
On the screen, go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Add device → Bluetooth, then select the keyboard.

Check batteries and power switch
Make sure the batteries are installed correctly and are new.
Confirm the keyboard’s power switch is in the ON position.

Try a different USB port
If using USB or a dongle, move it to another USB port on the All-in-One.
This helps rule out a port-specific issue.

Restart the computer
Restarting helps the system detect the keyboard if it didn’t initialize during first startup.

I hope this helps.
