lOCATION OF THE CMOS BATTERY

HP Recommended
EliteDesk 800 G1 USDT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Hewlett-Packard HP EliteDesk 800 G1 USDT computer and I need to change the battery but I can't find it. It is not where the manual says it is and I can not locate it anywhere on the motherboard. I removed the DVD and the SDD but it's not under there. Could it be under some other hardware such as the heat-sink or cpu?

Can any one help me?

Hi:

Here is a picture of the motherboard.  Just above the upper right corner of the silver GPU finned heatink, is the CMOS battery.

Most CMOS batteries lie flat on the motherboard, but as you can see in the picture, this one stands in a holder on its edge, making it very difficult to locate.

Thank you Paul for your fast reply and help. I guess "I couldn't see the forest for the trees" as the saying goes.

Thanks for your help.
