 sous win10  le lecteur  ne se voit pas  dans le  gest fichiers    il se voit  juste avec  un cd audio

quand a  dvd rw  .... aucune visibilite.

 que  puis je faire??? merci  par avance

Hi:

 

Did you install the required DVD playing software?

 

W10 does not include DVD playing software.

 

See if installing the free VLC Media Player from the Microsoft Store allows you to play DVD's.

Did the DVD player work fine before you upgraded to W10?

 

DVD-RW players use two laser beams.

 

One beam reads and burns CD's and one reads and burns DVD's.

 

That is because a CD or DVD disk requires the lasers to focus at different lengths.

 

So, if the player works on CD's just fine but not on DVD's, then I suspect that the DVD laser is not functioning and the drive needs to be replaced.
