Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

What is the maximum memory (ram) that can be installed for this machine running Windows 10 home 64,  One HP tech page says max 8GB and another says 32GB max.

Hi:

 

It is neither.

 

Your PC has two memory slots and each slot can support an 8 GB memory chip, so the total is 16 GB.

 

Here is the link to the motherboard specs for your model.

 

You can find the above information under the Memory Upgrade info section.
