i want to upgrade from the installed 16 memory and i checked the Hp specs and it says it only supports 32. Is this correct?

If so what is recomended 2 16"s?

That is almost certainly incorrect: you should be able to upgrade your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C9AV) with up to 2 x 32GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 288-pin RAM sticks.


It must be mentioned though, that you likely won't need or would benefit much from having 64GB of RAM, so 2 x 16GB should be plenty such as this quality/affordable 2x16GB dual-rank (2Rx8) RAM kit purchase option via Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Timetec-3200MHz-PC4-25600-Unbuffered-Computer/dp/B07QRVNB26/ref=sr_1_3?crid=J....
